Meet Courtney Howell
Vice President of Operations
A native of Norfolk, VA, I moved to Richmond in 1991 where I attended St. Gertrude’s High school. I have two children and one grandchild. I am a lover of the water and spend a lot of time at the Chesapeake Bay. I am a member of Hope Point Church in Chesterfield, VA. I am currently in the Master’s program for Business Law at Liberty University.
Right out of high school, I started working as a teller for Bank of America. I quickly learned that I had a passion for Banking. I have spent the last two decades in the financial industry. Prior to joining the Foundation, I worked for Wachovia and Wells Fargo for a total of 13 years. For four years prioer to joining the Foundation, I worked as a compliance officer overseeing up to 22 branches. I have an extensive background in creating and implementing policy and procedure, loan processes, banking regulations and customer service. During my financial career, I have held my Virginia Life and Annuities License, as well as Series 6 and 63 licenses.
