
Bill was a graduate of Osbourn High School, class of ‘84, and would go on to receive the Enrolled Agent Credential which is a nationally recognized certification offered by the IRS for tax professionals. He used this certification to start his own tax and financial advisory firm and work as a real estate agent with Pearson Smith Realty, where he helped numerous people in need of tax, financial and real estate advice.
Bill also served his community in many different capacities, which included the role of executive director of the Prosperity House, as board member of the United Methodist Development Company, and as a member of the Legislative Committee and past president of the Prince William Association of Realtors. He was an active member and current lay leader at St. Thomas United Methodist Church. Bill was a man of deep abiding faith. He loved God, his family, his church family and the countless others whom he counseled and ministered to through work and the many ministries in which he was involved.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas United Methodist Church, 8899 Sudley Road, Manassas, with the Rev. Matthew Sergent officiating. A celebration of Bill’s life and reception will immediately follow in the church fellowship hall.
