Answer: The Client Services Relationship Manager was established in 2018 in order to meet the needs of our clients. The Virginia United Methodist Foundation has experienced an amazing amount of growth and they saw a need to have someone dedicated to serving their clients and investors.
Question: Why did you chose this position?
Answer: There is a long and short version to the reasons I chose this position. The long version explains how I relocated to Virginia and, through the grace of God, I found out about the opening. It is an amazing story that someday may be a motion picture. I saw the position as an opportunity to serve the body of Christ and it was an almost perfect match with my experiences. However, I will say that in reality, the position chose me and I am blessed to be in it.
Question: Tell us about yourself.
Answer: I have written a little bit of my story on my bio’s page with the Foundation. But what I would like to add to it is my deep love of God. Before my walk with God I was lost and some would say even depressed. I didn’t have a purpose or meaning in life. But God got a good hold of me that changed my life forever. I am thankful for his presence through the valleys and the mountains. That is why I like to live in the words of Joshua “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”.
Question: What other skills do you bring to the Foundation?
Answer: God has led me in different trainings, degrees, employments and life experiences that have empowered me with skills beneficial to the Foundation. I have a strong computer and non-profit experience. I am also bilingual (read, write and speak Spanish) and I am a creative problem solver. Nevertheless, the greatest of all my skills is my desire to serve God’s people. This allows me to be a great advocate for all the Virginia United Methodist churches and parishioners. I want to facilitate, maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
